Parks and Gardens of Santa Barbara

This town is rich in various parks and gardens with many attractions in them. It seems that Santa Barbara is hidden under the greens. Just to mention some of them and that will be enough to understand how green this place of wonders. Botanical Garden, which has collected a variety of plant species, is really a miracle. One can find any plant he/she wishes in this garden. Park Frances was named in honor of Francesca Emmanuel, who was famous for his work of plant breeding. Bird Sanctuary Andrew Clark Bird Refuge - Casa del Erra-ro. It is a private estate, which is known for its magnificent gardens in the Spanish-Moorish style. Memorial Gardens, the Alice Keck Park, Waterfront Park, Park De La Guerra Plaza Skofielda, Conservation Douglas, Carpinteria - Huge flower, and many others attract fans’ attention by all means. Such an abundance of parks and gardens, their magnificence cannot leave anyone to be indifferent. Our kids are touched by the wonderful fountain with dolphins. It is beyond any words! We’ve learned that it is a symbol of Santa Barbara. The fountain statue was cast in 1982. Each corner of this town is unique and stylish. Attractions are endless and we are happy. Our travel is marvelous indeed! Our voyage by sea is picturesque. Admiring the blue waves of the ocean and breathing the salt air, one can continue the traveling in good mood. By the way, our yacht is waiting for us and, of course, we rented it with great pleasure. There are lot of them are at tourists’ disposal for the whole day. Another attraction is whales! Winter season is a challenge for tourists because one can see such an amazing phenomenon as the seasonal migration of whales. And it is not cold in winter here.

And finally, if anyone wants to join the ancient times in Santa Barbara, he/she has to visit the huge castle of the late newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst. In this architectural giant there are more than 160 rooms with total area of eight square kilometers, and exterior and interior are a mixture of all existing styles of architecture and design. The Hearst Castle is really amazing. It is worth seeing.

In addition tourists can visit a wonderful “country lotus” – the main supplier of flowers and strawberries in America. Our family was enchanted by Lake Cachuma as well as the town of Solvang – “little Denmark”. Wine lovers will be satisfied with "wine country" Santa Aynez, which represents thirty deprivation wine companies, the leading U.S. wineries. It is open for everyone who wants to taste the wine. Our vacations are coming to end. We are full of nice impressions and emotions after visiting such a miraculous town Santa Barbara. We have never seen so many attractions like in this place.
